WHAT IS THE NYACSL?

Once upon a snowy Friday evening in 1975, a couple of advertising guys got together over drinks at Joe & Rose's to apply their combined creative talents toward the development of new and interesting ways to meet women. The result of this weighty conference was the New York Advertising Co-Ed Softball league.

OUR BRAND NEW FIELDS

Since its inception, the NYACSL has played mostly all of its games on Ward's Island. However, in August 2007, the Randall's Island Sports Foundation (RISF) and the City undertook a project to reconfigure and rebuild over 60 athletic playing fields on Randall’s Island. The NYACSL is a long-time affiliate of the RISF and beginning this year, we now play all regular and post-season games on these newly rebuilt fields.

HALL OF CHAMPIONS

Our league has been around almost 35 years and there have been a number of different champions as well as a couple of dynasties.
